Support Groups for Multigenerational Families

Zen Master Thích Nhất Hạnh (1926-2022), a frequent lecturer in San Jose, helped to popularize mindfulness throughout the mental health and medical industries.
Thầy Thích Pháp Hạnh wants to offer this treasured teaching to the local Vietnamese families to improve family life and hence the program Tâm Việt trong Gia Đình was conceived.
Cultural Quest Foundation is pleased to co-lead with Thầy a monthly mindfulness-based multi-family support group, which is slowly gaining recognition in the local community.

Since 2018, Cultural Quest Foundation has supported the work of San Andreas Regional Center (SARC) which provides critical education and caregiving services to families of persons with developmentally disability.
To meet the needs of the growing Vietnamese community, Thi Tran, MA, manager and Vietnamese speaking staff created special programs such as "Cùng Chung Tiếng Nói" annual conferences and montly meetings to spread information needed by families.
Cultural Quest Foundation co-lead with Thi the support group portion of the program. As of June 2025, Thi will lead the support group portion by herself. We are standing by to support Thi and SARC to maintain this needed program.
